Equity and Compliance

In accordance with upholding federal law, Equity and Compliance helps create a learning, living and working environment free from discrimination by implementing inclusive policies and values that align with RISD community values. We are committed to providing equitable response to community issues involving discrimination as well as providing support to members of our community navigating discriminatory behaviors.

We aim to educate members of the RISD community on our values as well as foster an environment that is inclusive of and does not discriminate on the basis of any protected classes, including but not limited to: race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, national origin or veteran status within any educational program, activity or employment.
