Tillinghast Place parking is accessible by RISD ID to current RISD faculty, staff and students.
From April 1–October 31 the parking area is open from dawn to dusk and from November 1–March 31 it is open 7 am–4 pm. Take note that local law enforcement monitors streets surrounding the
grounds and will issue tickets for illegally parked vehicles.

Use of internal grounds can be requested by RISD faculty and staff via 25Live at schedule.risd.edu. RISD Alumni may reach out to Alumni Relations for information about Tillinghast Place access. You can reach their office at 401 709-8585 or alumni@risd.edu.
Restrooms will remain closed until further notice. Tillinghast Place
should not be used as a site for conducting academic courses.
As with other campus spaces, community members must follow key safety measures when at Tillinghast Place:
- Frequently wash hands and use hand sanitizer.
- Do not gather in groups larger than those stated in current RISD guidelines.
- Do not bring guests who are not covered by the above guidelines.
RISD may adjust operating hours and access if conditions change.
Property rules:
- Property is open from dawn to dusk.
- Any vehicles not removed by dusk will be removed from the premises.
- All dogs must be leashed.
- No bonfires, grills or other open flames are permitted.
